Piotr Łukasiewicz (sociologist)
Piotr Michał Łukasiewicz (born 1 September 1954 in Warsaw) is a Polish sociologist, civil servant, manager, and head of the Ministry of Culture and Art. Biography A graduate of the University of Warsaw, he obtained a doctoral degree with a specialization in the sociology of everyday life. In 1978–1994 he was a member of the editorial board of the independent political quarterly ''Krytyka''. Until 1992 he worked at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Later, for two years he was the undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Culture and Art. From July 1992 to February 1993, he was a minister in the government of Hanna Suchocka as the head of the Ministry of Culture and Art. From 1994 to 2008 he worked in the advertising agency McCann-Erickson (including as a strategic director). Then he became an employee of Millward Brown SMG/KRC, taking the position of director. Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland ( pl, Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego) is a governmental administration office concerned with various aspects of Polish culture. The ministry can trace its history back to 1918 when the Ministry of Art and Culture was established. Hanna Stanisława Suchocka (; born 3 April 1946) is a Polish political figure, lawyer, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Chair of the Constitutional Law Department, former First Vice-President and Honorary President of the Venice Commission. She served as the Prime Minister of Poland between 8 July 1992 and 26 October 1993 under the presidency of Lech Wałęsa. Bronisław Komorowski
Bronisław Maria Komorowski (; born 4 June 1952) is a Polish politician and historian who served as President of Poland from 2010 to 2015. Komorowski served as Minister of Defence from 2000 to 2001. As Marshal of the Sejm, Komorowski exercised the powers and duties of head of state following the death of President Lech Kaczyński in a plane crash on 10 April 2010.
