Pillai College of Engineering (Autonomous) is an engineering college in New Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India was established in 1999 (commencement of courses from A.Y. 2000–2001) as a self financed Malayalam Linguistic Minority autonomous Institute affiliated to University of Mumbai, approved by AICTE and Recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra. The college is recognized by UGC under section 12(b) and 2(f). It is operating under the banner of Mahatma Education Society (MES). Ayonika Paul (born 23 September 1992) is an Indian Shooting sports, shooter who competes in the 10 metre air rifle event. She won the silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. New Panvel is a residential, commercial and educational node of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and comes under the Konkan division. New Panvel was developed on marshy land and was previously a Mango cultivated area.
