Pillai College of Engineering (Autonomous) is an engineering college in New Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India was established in 1999 (commencement of courses from A.Y. 2000–2001) as a self financed Malayalam Linguistic Minority autonomous Institute affiliated to University of Mumbai, approved by AICTE and Recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra. The college is recognized by UGC under section 12(b) and 2(f). It is operating under the banner of Mahatma Education Society (MES). It is commonly referred to as Pillai College, PCE also as PIIT, also as PIITE. It is the first autonomous Engineering College in Navi Mumbai, it was granted autonomous status by the UGC in 2021-22. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Ayonika Paul (born 23 September 1992) is an Indian Shooting sports, shooter who competes in the 10 metre air rifle event. She won the silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Ayonika Paul was confirmed by the Selection Committee of NRAI to represent India at the Rio Olympics 2016, where she finished at 47th position in the qualification round out of 51 contestants. New Panvel
New Panvel is a residential, commercial and educational node of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and comes under the Konkan division. New Panvel was developed on marshy land and was previously a Mango cultivated area.
