Pierre Bernard (graphic Designer)
Pierre Bernard (25 February 1942 – 23 November 2015) was a French graphic artist and designer. He was a member and then the manager for the L’Atelier Création Graphique in Paris, an organization he founded along with Dirk Behage and Fokke Draaijer. Design
A design is a plan or specification for the construction of an object or system or for the implementation of an activity or process or the result of that plan or specification in the form of a prototype, product, or process. Eiko Ishioka
was a Japanese art director, costume designer, and graphic designer known for her work in stage, screen, advertising, and print media. Noted for her advertising campaigns for the Japanese boutique chain Parco, she collaborated with sportswear company Descente in designing uniforms and outerwear for members of the Swiss, Canadian, Japanese, and Spanish teams at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and was the director of costume design for the opening ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for her work in Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 romantic-horror film '' Bram Stoker's Dracula'' which was based on the novel of the same name and was posthumously nominated for an Academy Award in the same category for her work in Tarsem Singh's 2012 film '' Mirror Mirror''. Niklaus Troxler
Niklaus Troxler (born May 1, 1947) is a Swiss graphic designer. He was the organizer of the Willisau Jazz Festival from 1975 to 2009. Biography Troxler studied graphic design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He worked as an art director in Paris in 1972 and subsequently founded his own design practice in Willisau, Switzerland. He started organizing jazz concerts in Willisau in 1966 and initiated the Willisau Jazz Festival in 1975. He organized this internationally renowned yearly Festival until 2009 before passing the baton over to his nephew, Arno Troxler. Troxler's graphic works (particularly his concert posters and record cover designs) won him several relevant international awards: the Toulouse-Lautrec Medal in Gold (1987 and 1994), design awards in Lahti (1993), Helsinki (1997), Hong Kong (2000), Hangzhou (2003), Ningbo (2006), Taiwan (2005), and Colorado (2006). Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) is a club of the world's leading graphic artists and designers. There are 527 members from 43 countries. Its members have been collectively responsible for the identity design of most of the world's top corporations and institutions as well as for countless examples of globally known packaging, publications, illustration and posters. Bernard Baissait is the only member who left the AGI following disagreement.
