Pierre-Olivier Joseph
Pierre-Olivier Joseph (born July 1, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 23rd overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Early life Joseph was born on July 1, 1999, in Laval, Quebec, Canada to parents Frantzi Joseph and France Taillon. His father played and coached hockey for many years and France was a competitive athlete in her youth. His father is of Haitian descent and his mother is white. Growing up, he was called racial slurs on the ice, and been told to go back to his "own country." His brother, Mathieu, was drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning and currently plays for the Ottawa Senators. Mike Sullivan (ice Hockey)
Michael Barry Sullivan (born February 27, 1968) is an American ice hockey coach and former player. He is the current head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was a fourth round selection, 69th overall, by the New York Rangers at the 1987 NHL Entry Draft and played 11 NHL seasons with the San Jose Sharks, Calgary Flames, Boston Bruins, and Phoenix Coyotes. Internationally, he represented the United States twice, including at the 1997 World Championship. Sullivan turned to coaching upon his retirement in 2002 and served two seasons as the head coach of the Boston Bruins between 2003 and 2005. 2019–20 AHL Season
The 2019–20 AHL season was the 84th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 4, 2019, and was officially cancelled on May 11, 2020. The 2020 Calder Cup playoffs, which was also cancelled, would have followed the conclusion of the regular season. The league suspended play on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America, and was not able to resume play. The Milwaukee Admirals claimed the league's regular-season trophy, the Macgregor Kilpatrick Trophy, their second regular-season championship. Michael George Vellucci (born August 11, 1966) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He is currently an assistant coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League. Previously, he was the head coach and general manager of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the American Hockey League for one season. Infectious mononucleosis (IM, mono), also known as glandular fever, is an infection usually caused by the Epstein–Barr virus (EBV).
