''Pieces'' () is a 2021 extended play by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. It was released on December 29, 2021, through Edam Entertainment. Initially released for digital download and streaming only, the physical CD was included in the DVD/Blu-ray box set of the documentary ''Pieces: 29th Winter'', which was published on March 23, 2022. It was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2022 Melon Music Awards. Background and release On December 22, 2021, Edam Entertainment released a teaser image for the EP through its social media account. The monochrome image contained books titled like IU's previously released singles, interspersed with colored sheets indicating the period of composition of the songs of the new release. On December 28, a live clip of the song "Next Stop" was released on the company's YouTube channel. IU (singer)
Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. She signed with LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) ''Lost and Found'' (2008). 2022 MAMA Awards
The 2022 MAMA Awards ceremony, organized by CJ E&M and broadcast through its music channel Mnet, was broadcast live on November 29 and 30, 2022. The ceremony was held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan. The theme for the ceremony is titled "K-POP World Citizenship" with sub-themes per night, "The world we build together" for day 1, and "We are K-POP" for day 2. ''Palette'' () is the fourth studio album by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. It was released on April 21, 2017, by LOEN Entertainment under its imprint FAVE Entertainment.
