''Phyllodoce'' is a genus of polychaete worms, which contains about 200 species. The prostomium bears eyes, two pairs of antennae and a pair of large retractile nuchal organs. The eversible proboscis is clearly divided into two parts. Species The World Register of Marine Species includes the following species in the genus : *'' Phyllodoce adarensis'' Benham, 1927 *'' Phyllodoce agassizi'' Nolte, 1938 *'' Phyllodoce albovittata'' Grube, 1860 *'' Phyllodoce algerensis'' Nolte, 1938 *'' Phyllodoce arenae'' Webster, 1879 *'' Phyllodoce armigera'' (Blake, 1988) *'' Phyllodoce australis'' Day, 1975 *'' Phyllodoce basalis'' (Hartmann-Schröder, 1965) *'' Phyllodoce benedenii'' (Hansen, 1882) *'' Phyllodoce berrisfordi'' (Hartmann-Schröder, 1974) *'' Phyllodoce bimaculata'' Saint-Joseph, 1898 *'' Phyllodoce breviremis'' Quatrefages, 1866 *'' Phyllodoce bruneoviridis'' Saint-Joseph, 1898 *'' Phyllodoce bulbosa'' Wesenberg-Lund, 1962 *'' Phyllodoce callaona'' Grube, 1857 *'' Phyllodoce ...

Phyllodocidae
Phyllodocidae is a family of polychaete worms. Worms in this family live on the seabed and may burrow under the sediment. Characteristics Members of the Phyllodocidae are characterised by an eversible pharynx and leaf-like dorsal cirri. The head has a pair of antennae at the front, a pair of ventral palps and a single median antenna known as a "nuchal papilla". There is a pair of nuchal organs and there may or may not be a pair of eyes. The first two or three body segments may be part-fused and bear up to four pairs of tentacular cirri. The remaining body segments each bear leaf-like dorsal and ventral cirri, the dorsal ones being larger. The parapodia are uniramous or biramous, and chaetae are present on all but the first segment. Genera The World Register of Marine Species includes the following genera : *Subfamily Eteoninae Bergström, 1914 **Genus '' Eteone'' Savigny, 1818 **Genus '' Eulalia'' Savigny, 1822 **Genus ''Eumida ''Eumida'' is a genus of polychaetes belonging t ...

Velella
''Velella'' is a monospecific genus of hydrozoa in the Porpitidae family. Its only known species is ''Velella velella'', a cosmopolitan free-floating hydrozoan that lives on the surface of the open ocean. It is commonly known by the names sea raft, by-the-wind sailor, purple sail, little sail, or simply ''Velella''. This small cnidarian is part of a specialised ocean surface community that includes the better-known cnidarian siphonophore, the Portuguese man o' war. Specialized predatory gastropod molluscs prey on these cnidarians. Such predators include nudibranchs (sea slugs) in the genus ''Glaucus''Gosliner, T.M. (1987). Phyllodoce Floribunda
''Acacia floribunda'' is a perennial evergreen shrub or tree. It is a species of wattle native to New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, but is cultivated extensively, and has naturalised in South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia, and also in Indonesia, Mauritius and northern New Zealand. Common names for it include gossamer wattle, weeping acacia and white sallow wattle. It grows up to 6m in height, but there is a commercial form available which only grows to about 1m tall. Its cream-colored flowers occur in the early Spring (August to September in the southern hemisphere). Uses In landscaping, ''Acacia floribunda'' is very useful for controlling erosion, especially in gullies. It is also useful as a hedge, as a wind breaker, around bogs and ponds and as a shade tree. It is sold frequently as an ornamental landscaping plant because it is fast-growing and it has many beautiful flowers. The tree is used for its nitrogen fixing properties by interspersing it with ...

Phyllodoce Stricta
''Acacia stricta'' (hop wattle, straight wattle) is a perennial tree. The plant is adaptable to most soils, tolerating full sun or partial to complete shade. Tolerates drought conditions and moderately salty winds. The shrub is useful in planting, as it is not too dense and can be used for screening other plants. The plant grows up to 2-4m depending on conditions.
