Photographs (Mest Album)
''Photographs'' is the fifth studio album by American pop punk band Mest. Release On July 12, 2005, ''Photographs'' was announced for release later in the year; following this, the band performed on the main stage of that year's Warped Tour. On August 7, 2005, "Kiss Me, Kill Me" and "Take Me Away (Cried Out to Heaven)" were posted on the band's Myspace profile. The band supported Social Distortion on their headlining US tour from September 2005. On October 12, 2005, the music video for "Take Me Away (Cried Out to Heaven)" was posted online. That same day, Mest had to drop off the Social Distortion tour because of drummer Nick Gigler developing Carpal tunnel syndrome; they were replaced by Bullets and Octane. Six days later, ''Photographs'' was released through Maverick. Limited copies came with a bonus DVD entitled ''Seven Deadly Sins''. Mest
Mest is an American rock band originally formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Tony Lovato, bassist Matt Lovato, drummer Nick Gigler, and guitarist Jeremiah Rangel. They broke up in 2006 after eleven years, but temporarily reformed in California in 2008 for a "final tour." Later, it was announced that the classic lineup of Mest, with Tony Lovato, Matt Lovato, Nick Gigler, Sacha Jean and Jeremiah Rangel, would be getting back together. History Cousins Matt Lovato and Tony Lovato formed the band together in October 1995. The band's last guitarist, Jeremiah Rangel, joined the band in 1998. Their previous guitarist was Steve Lovato, Tony Lovato's brother. Nick Gigler joined the band in 1997. In 1998, the band self-released ''Mo' Money, Mo' 40z''. Their debut album on Maverick Records, ''Wasting Time'', was released in July 2000 and '' Destination Unknown'' in 2001. Social Distortion
Social Distortion is an American punk rock band formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California. The band currently consists of Mike Ness (lead vocals, lead guitar), Jonny Wickersham (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Brent Harding (bass, backing vocals), David Hidalgo Jr. (drums), and David Kalish (keyboards). Starting as a hardcore punk band in the late 1970s to the early 1980s, Social Distortion went on a temporary hiatus in the mid-1980s, due to Ness's drug addiction and troubles with the law which resulted in extended stints in various rehabilitation centers that lasted for two years. Following their reformation, the band has shifted its style to a country, blues and early rock and roll-influenced style of punk. Since its inception, the band's lineup has seen significant turnover, with Ness as the only constant member. After years of performing, Social Distortion continues to tour and record music. Bleed The Dream
Bleed the Dream is an American rock band from Southern California, United States. History 2003–2005: Formation to ''Built By Blood'' Keith Thompson left Baltimore for Los Angeles in 2002, and Brandon Thomas followed in early 2003. The pair formed Bleed the Dream in spring 2003. Moving to Los Angeles, the band spent the next year touring from city to city and polishing their sound, landing a spot on the Warped Tour in 2004, and again in 2005. In 2004, the band's guitarist, Dave Aguilera, created his own label, Maphia Records, which released two EPs by the band: "Awake" and the unplugged, acoustic "Asleep". The band subsequently released a DVD, '' No Apologies'', edited by Scott Gottlieb from tour footage and behind the scene fan cameras. Lit is an American rock band formed in 1988 in Orange County, California. They have released seven studio albums, but are best known for their 1999 album '' A Place in the Sun'', which featured the hit single " My Own Worst Enemy". " Zip-Lock" and " Miserable" were also successful, leading to a platinum certification for ''A Place in the Sun''. History Pre-Lit (1986–1995) Guitarist Jeremy Popoff and bassist Kevin Baldes met in 1986, and soon after, began playing music together. Scary Kids Scaring Kids (abbreviated SKSK) is an American post-hardcore band formed in Gilbert, Arizona, United States, in 2002. The band's name was taken from the Cap'n Jazz song of the same name. They released two studio albums '' The City Sleeps in Flames'' (2005) and the self-titled ''Scary Kids Scaring Kids'' (2007) with the late member and lead vocalist Tyson Stevens. The band disbanded following a farewell tour in 2010. Allister
Allister is an American pop punk band from Chicago, Illinois. The four-piece formed in 1994 when the original band members were still in high school, and was originally named Phineas Gage. In 1998 Allister became one of the first bands to sign to Drive-Thru Records. They went on hiatus in 2007, then reunited in 2010, and have been touring and recording again since. Bullets and Octane is a hard rock band originally from St. Louis, Missouri and later based in Southern California (as referenced in the song "Cancer California"). They originate from the band Ultrafink (which released one album titled ''Carbotrolly'', currently out of print). The band has been touring in Europe and North America since December 31, 1998, playing as a support band for Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Eagles of Death Metal and Flogging Molly, CKY (band), amongst others, as well as headlining their own tours. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the collection of symptoms and signs associated with median neuropathy at the carpal tunnel. Most CTS is related to idiopathic compression of the median nerve as it travels through the wrist at the carpal tunnel (IMNCT). Idiopathic means that there is no other disease process contributing to pressure on the nerve. As with most structural issues, it occurs in both hands, and the strongest risk factor is genetics. Other conditions can cause CTS such as wrist fracture or rheumatoid arthritis. After fracture, swelling, bleeding, and deformity compress the median nerve. With rheumatoid arthritis, the enlarged synovial lining of the tendons causes compression. The main symptoms are numbness and tingling in the thumb, index finger, middle finger and the thumb side of the ring finger. Pop Punk
Pop punk (or punk pop) is a rock music genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop.
