Phool (1993 Film)
''Phool'' () is a 1993 Bollywood film directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao starring Kumar Gaurav, Madhuri Dixit in lead roles along with Sunil Dutt, Rajendra Kumar in supporting roles. The film is produced by actor Rajendra Kumar who is the father of Kumar Gaurav, both in real life and in the film. This film marked Rajendra Kumar's final film appearance. Plot Dharamraaj (Rajendra Kumar) and Balram Choudhary (Sunil Dutt) are two friends who earn their living by farming. Dharamraaj lives with his mom and son, Raju (Kumar Gaurav) and Balram live with his wife Savitri and a daughter Guddi (Madhuri Dixit). Singeetam Srinivasa Rao (born 21 September 1931), commonly known as Singeetam, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer, composer, and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the most versatile directors of India. He is credited with having revolutionised the South Indian cinema with experimental films. He has directed about sixty films in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and English languages across multiple genres. Kedarnath Bhattacharya (born 20 October 1957), better known as Kumar Sanu, is an Indian playback singer. He is known as the King of Melody in Bollywood. He is famous for singing thousands of Bollywood Hindi songs. Anand Bakshi (21 July 1930 – 30 March 2002) was an Indian poet and lyricist. He was nominated for the Filmfare award for Best lyricist a total of 40 times, resulting in 4 wins. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, via a Dakota aircraft after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then Meerut and settled again finally in Delhi. Bakshi was fond of writing poetry since his youth, but he did this mostly as a private hobby. Gurbachan Singh (10 December 1930 – 24 April 1980) was the third guru of the Sant Nirankari sect, considered to be heterodox by all Sikhs. He was born in Peshawar (modern-day Pakistan). He was declared next Baba by his father and predecessor Baba Avtar Singh in 1962. He was assassinated in 1980 following a clash with Sikhs.
