Füssen is a town in Bavaria, Germany, in the district of Ostallgäu, situated one kilometre from the Austrian border. The town is known for violin manufacturing and as the closest transportation hub for the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. As of , the town has a population of . Östersund (; sma, Staare) is an urban area (city) in Jämtland in the middle of Sweden. It is the seat of Östersund Municipality and the capital of Jämtland County. The 2023–24 Biathlon World Cup ''(official: BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon)'' was a multi-race series over a season of biathlon, organised by the International Biathlon Union (IBU). It was the 47th edition for men and 42nd edition for women of the highest international race series in biathlon.
