Phil Bennett (racing Driver)
Phil Bennett (born 6 October 1971 in Kingswinford) is a British auto racing driver. He started circuit racing in 1998 with a one make Rover 216GTi, racing in the BRSCC Super Coupe Cup - finishing 2nd. He then finished 3rd in the 1999 Renault Spider Cup. In 2001 he joined Team Egg Sport to race a Vauxhall Astra in the BTCC, in the first year of BTC-Touring regulations. Against a thin field he came 4th overall, behind only the other Vauxhalls of Jason Plato, Yvan Muller Yvan Muller (born 16 August 1969 in Altkirch, Haut-Rhin) is a French auto racing driver most noted for success in touring car racing. Oulton Park
Oulton Park is a hard surfaced track used for motor racing, close to the village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is about from Winsford, from Chester city centre, from Northwich and from Warrington, with a nearby rail connection along the Mid-Cheshire Line. It occupies much of the area which was previously known as the Oulton Estate. The racing circuit is owned and operated by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation. Courage Compétition
Courage Compétition was a racing team and chassis constructor company now owned by Oreca, based in Le Mans, France near the Circuit de la Sarthe. It was founded by Yves Courage, a French race driver who ran hillclimbs before founding the company. 2005 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 73rd 24 Hours of Le Mans (french: link=no, 73e 24 Heures du Mans) was a non-championship 24-hour automobile endurance race held for Le Mans Prototype and Grand Touring cars from 18 to 19 June 2005 at the Circuit de la Sarthe close by Le Mans, France. It was the 73rd running of the event, as organised by the automotive group, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) since 1923. A test day was held two weeks prior to the race on 5 June. Rockingham Motor Speedway
Rockingham Motor Speedway is a former racing motorsport venue in Rockingham, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom, near the town of Corby. It hosted professional and club races, as well as testing, track days, driver training, exhibitions and conferences. The 2003 Green Flag MSA British Touring Car Championship season was the 46th British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. The BTC-T Proton Impian is a BTC-Touring class racing car that was built for the 2002 British Touring Car Championship season by Team Petronas Syntium Proton, Team PSP, who ran Proton (automobile), Proton's official works program. BTCC In 2001, the Malaysian carmaker, Proton (automobile), Proton, announced that they would be entering into the British Touring Car Championship for the first time the following year with its Proton Impian, with the effort being run by Team Petronas Syntium Proton. Based in Norfolk, the team were forced to purchase the cars from local dealerships, due to the difficulties of importing bodyshells from Malaysia. A team is a group of individuals (human or non-human) working together to achieve their goal. Croft Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England. The tarmac circuit is long and is based on the lands of an airfield, but has long since moved on from being a basic airfield circuit. Snetterton Circuit is a motor racing course in Norfolk, England, originally opened in 1953.
