Phantasmagoria
Phantasmagoria (, also fantasmagorie, fantasmagoria) was a form of horror theatre that (among other techniques) used one or more magic lanterns to project frightening images, such as skeletons, demons, and ghosts, onto walls, smoke, or semi-transparent screens, typically using rear projection to keep the lantern out of sight. Mobile or portable projectors were used, allowing the projected image to move and change size on the screen, and multiple projecting devices allowed for quick switching of different images. In many shows, the use of spooky decoration, total darkness, (auto-)suggestive verbal presentation, and sound effects were also key elements. Some shows added a variety of sensory stimulation, including smells and electric shocks. Such elements as required fasting, fatigue (late shows), and drugs have been mentioned as methods of making sure spectators would be more convinced of what they saw. The shows started under the guise of actual séances in Germany in the late ...

History Phantasmagoria was formed in November 2004 and their first single "Material Pain" was released in the music magazine ''Shoxx'' on December 21 of the same year. The following day the group released its first Maxi-single, "Moonlight Revival". Phantasmagoria was featured on the cover of well-known visual kei magazine ''Cure'', one month after their formation, becoming one of the fastest-rising indie bands to appear on the cover of a magazine. During the 2010 Under Code Production's New Year's live, Phantasmagoria was once again revived to perform. Along with their revival, the band released a mini-album and a single which contained songs the band had written while they were active but never released. Phantasmagoria (The Damned Album)
''Phantasmagoria'' is the sixth album by U.K. punk rock band the Damned, released by MCA in July 1985. Special editions were available on white vinyl or picture disc; some versions included a free 12-inch of their No. 3 hit " Eloise". It is the first album by the band without original member Captain Sensible, and was a style shift to gothic rock compared to the band's punk sound of its early and later career. History After much wrangling, the Damned received a new contract with MCA Records in October 1984 on the strength of the song " Grimly Fiendish", issued as a single the following March. They recorded the album in Eel Pie Studios from March to June 1985. It reached No. 11 in the charts, and was the band's highest-charting album ever, until the release of ''Evil Spirits'' in 2018, which cracked the top-ten at No. 7. The non-album single "Eloise," (a Barry Ryan cover), released six months later, became a huge UK hit, reaching No. 3. The Damned centred the entire album a ...

Never, Neverland
''Never, Neverland'' is the second album by heavy metal band Annihilator. It was released on September 12, 1990, under the label Roadrunner. The album was re-released twice: in 1998 with three demo tracks as bonus tracks and again on September 9, 2003, in a two-disc compilation set along with ''Alice in Hell'', entitled ''Alice in Hell/Never Neverland'' (as part of Roadrunner Records ''Two from the Vault'' series). Reception Nick Griffiths of '' Select'' gave the album a two-out-of-five rating, and described it as a "patchwork of half-fulfilled promises, it threatens more than it delivers." He noted that "only when the lead axe spits caterwauling speedplay and the thrash rhythm do Annihilator finally wash their true colours in public" and that "elsewhere there's a tendency to steer into formularised ruts, escaping occasionally like on the ghoulish riffs of 'Sixes and Sevens'." Alex Henderson of AllMusic gave the album 4.5 stars out of 5, calling it "one of 1990's strongest me ...

Cell-Scape
''Cell-Scape'' is the fifth album by Melt-Banana. It features electronic elements and marks a musical shift to a more accessible, hi-fi sound. ''Cell-Scape'' also features some of the longest songs written by Melt-Banana, including "Shield for Your Eyes" at 4 minutes long. Yasuko sings with her "real" voice in the chorus of "If it is the Deep Sea, I Can See You There". The last track on the album is uncharacteristic of Melt Banana's typical musical style; it is a 10-minute-long electronic ambient song. The song "Chain-Shot to Have Some Fun" was featured in an animated short movie called "Emily and the Baba Yaga". There was no drummer on this album, and all the drums were programmed on a drum machine. Some of the patterns, however, were inspired by Dave Witte Dave Witte (born August 11, 1971) is an American drummer. Phantasmagoria (poem)
"Phantasmagoria" is a poem written by Lewis Carroll and first published in 1869 as the opening poem of a collection of verse by Carroll entitled ''Phantasmagoria and Other Poems''. The collection was also published under the name ''Rhyme? And Reason?'' It is Lewis Carroll's longest poem. Both the poem and the collection were illustrated by A. B. Frost. Synopsis "Phantasmagoria" is a narrative discussion written in seven cantos between a ghost (a Phantom) and a man named Tibbets. Carroll portrays the ghost as not so different from human beings: although ghosts may jibber and jangle their chains, they, like us, simply have a job to do and that job is to haunt. Just as in our society, in ghost society there is a hierarchy, and ghosts are answerable to the King (who must be addressed as “Your Royal Whiteness”) if they disregard the "Maxims of Behaviour”. Ghosts, our Phantom tells the narrator, fear the same things that we often fear, only sometimes in reverse: : “ ...

''Phantasmagoria'' is a Graphic adventure game, point-and-click adventure horror video game designed by Roberta Williams for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows and released by Sierra Entertainment, Sierra On-Line on August 24, 1995. It tells the story of Adrienne Delaney (Victoria Morsell), a writer who moves into a remote mansion and finds herself terrorized by supernatural forces. It was made at the peak of popularity for interactive movie games and features live-action actors and footage, both during cinematic scenes and within the three-dimensionally rendered environments of the game itself. More than 200 people were involved in making ''Phantasmagoria'', which was based on Williams' 550-page script, about four times the length of an average Hollywood screenplay. It took more than two years to develop a ...

Marilyn Manson
Brian Hugh Warner (born January 5, 1969), known professionally as Marilyn Manson, is an American rock musician. He came to prominence as the lead singer of the band which shares his name, of which he remains the only constant member since its formation in 1989. Known for his controversial stage personality and public image, his stage name (like the other founding members of the band) was formed by combining the names of two opposing American cultural icons: actress Marilyn Monroe and cult leader Charles Manson. Manson is best known for music released in the 1990s, including the albums ''Portrait of an American Family'' (1994), ''Antichrist Superstar'' (1996) and ''Mechanical Animals'' (1998), which earned him a reputation in mainstream media as a controversial figure and negative influence on young people when combined with his public image. In the U.S. alone, three of the band's albums have been awarded platinum status and three more went gold, and the band has had eight re ...
