Petri Liimatainen
Petri Mikael Liimatainen (born July 20, 1969, in Hässelby-Vällingby, Hässelby, Sweden) is a former professional ice hockey Defenceman (ice hockey), defenceman. He currently serves as an assistant coach for Malmö Redhawks in the Swedish Hockey League, SHL. Career Liimatainen began his career with AIK IF in Sweden's Swedish Hockey League, Elitserien. After seven seasons he moved to Malmö Redhawks, Malmö IF in 1993. In 1995, Liimatainen moved to Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga and signed with the Krefeld Pinguine. After a four-year stay, he moved to Switzerland's National League (ice hockey), Nationalliga A with SC Bern but after one season he returned to the DEL and spent the next two seasons playing for the Berlin Capitals and the Kölner Haie In 2002, he returned to Elitserien and returned to Malmö for a second spell. Defenceman (ice Hockey)
Defence or defense (in American English) in ice hockey is a player position that is primarily responsible for preventing the opposing team from scoring. They are often referred to as defencemen, D, D-men or blueliners (the latter a reference to the blue line in ice hockey which represents the boundary of the offensive zone; defencemen generally position themselves along the line to keep the puck in the zone). Copenhagen Hockey
Hvidovre Fighters/Copenhagen Hockey is a professional ice hockey team based in Hvidovre, Denmark. They play in the second-highest hockey league in Denmark, the 1.division. Founded in 1966, they have taken on many different names, starting with the founding name, Hvidovre Ishockey and now Hvidovre Fighters. The team was previously part of the top Danish hockey league, but due to its financial struggles, it has declared bankruptcy many times, resulting in its many change of names. The National League (NL) is a professional ice hockey league in Switzerland and is the top tier of the Swiss league system. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was known as National League A. During the 2018–19 season, the league had an average of 6,949 spectators per game which is the highest among European leagues (ahead of the KHL with 6,397 and the DEL with 6,215).
