Peter Lee (bishop Of Christ The King)
Peter John Lee (born 5 June 1947) is an Anglican clergyman, Bishop of the Diocese of Christ the King, Johannesburg, South Africa. Educated at Gresham's School, Holt, Norfolk, The Hotchkiss School in Connecticut, and St. John's College, Cambridge, Lee was ordained in the Church of England and has worked in South Africa since 1976. He worked with Archbishop Desmond Tutu as Canon Missioner of the Anglican diocese of Johannesburg before being elected as bishop of the new Diocese of Christ the King. Lee retired in Jun 2016, The electoral college whose job it was to elect a successor failed to do so. Peterlee is a town in County Durham, England. It lies between Sunderland to the north, Hartlepool to the south, the Durham Coast to the east and Durham to the west. Peter Lee Jung-sum (23 October 1939 – 3 September 2008), was a former assistant director of Hong Kong Observatory. He was the elder brother of Bruce Lee. Background Born in Hong Kong on 23 October 1939, Lee was the eldest son of Lee Hoi-chuen and Grace Ho. He attended the La Salle College where he excelled in his studies and sports. Peter James Lee (11 May 1938 - 2 July 2022) was an American bishop of the Episcopal Church. Ministry Lee, a former newspaper reporter, was ordained deacon in 1967 and priest in 1968. He served as deacon at St John's Cathedral in Jacksonville, Florida from 1967 till 1968, and then as assistant minister at St John's Church in Washington, D.C. till 1971.
