Peter Holmes à Court
Peter Holmes à Court (born 1968) is an Australian businessman. He is the eldest son of the late billionaire businessman Robert Holmes à Court and Janet Holmes à Court. He was well known as a joint owner of the National Rugby League team South Sydney Rabbitohs together with Russell Crowe from 2006 until 2014. Education After completing his schooling at Geelong Grammar School in Corio, Victoria, Corio, he read law at Oxford University and received his BA in economics and theatre from Middlebury College, Vermont. Overseas ventures In 1993 Holmes à Court formed Back Row Productions, operating in New York City, London and Sydney. Back Row produced at least twenty live shows in thirty countries and 300 cities worldwide. Michael Robert Hamilton Holmes à Court (27 July 1937 – 2 September 1990) was a South African-born Australian businessman who became Australia's first billionaire, before dying suddenly of a heart attack in 1990 at the age of 53. Nick Pappas
Nicholas George Pappas ( el, Νικόλαος Γεώργιος Παπαναστασιου) is a solicitor from Sydney, Australia, and also the current chairman of the South Sydney Rabbitohs Rugby league club. He was also chairman of the club from April 2003 to June 2006. During that time Pappas had led a board borne of an uneasy compromise following a bitter campaign in the lead up to the 2003 AGM. Pappas was replaced in mid-2006 after the privatisation bid, supported by Pappas, of Russell Crowe and Peter Holmes a Court which was decided by a very narrow vote by members in March 2006. The 2014 NRL Grand Final was the concluding and premiership-deciding match of the 2014 NRL season.
