Peter Hannan (cinematographer)
Peter Hannan (born 1 February 1941 in Sydney) is an Australian cinematographer who spent the majority of his career in Great Britain. One of his first jobs in the film industry was as an assistant cameraman on Stanley Kubrick's '' 2001: A Space Odyssey'' (1968). Since 1972, Hannan has worked on more than 30 films as the director of photography. They include the Terry Jones films ''Monty Python's The Meaning of Life'' (1983) and ''Absolutely Anything'' (2015), Nicholas Roeg's '' Insignificance'' (1985) and Bruce Robinson's cult film ''Withnail and I'' (1987). Hannon has worked with Monty Python members and George Harrison's production company HandMade Films on multiple occasions. In addition to his films as a lead cameraman, he also worked as the Second unit photographer on blockbuster productions like '' Sleepy Hollow'' (1999) and ''Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'' (2004). Peter Hannan (born 19 March 1953) is a Canadian composer, opera director and recorder player based in British Columbia. Hannan has composed music for the recorder, and is known for his work in the field of electro-acoustics.Eve O'Kelly. The Recorder Today'. He studied initially at the University of British Columbia, where he received a B. Mus. in 1975. He pursued advanced studies in recorder performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, who awarded him a Certificate of Advanced Studies in 1978. In 1979–80 he studied recorder with Kees Boeke at the Sweelink Conservatory under a Netherlands Government Scholarship. Peter John Hannan (born August 13, 1954) is an American producer, animator, singer-songwriter, author, illustrator, artist, and entrepreneur. Hannan is the creator, executive producer, and show runner of the Nickelodeon series ''CatDog'', for which he also wrote and sang the theme song. He is currently the story editor, sometime songwriter, and interstitial producer of the animated PBS Kids series ''Let's Go Luna!''. He has created and developed properties for numerous studios. He works as a character designer and writes for various other animated series.
