The Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) is a private university in Lima, Peru, founded on January 5, 1994. Currently, it offers 46 career programs categorized in 13 schools. History The Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas was created by Law No. 26276 on January 5, 1994. On March 28, a ceremony took place in the campus of Santiago de Surco in Lima, where the first stone was placed. The first admission was on August 4, 1994, and on September 15, the first university courses started with the faculties of engineering, architecture and communications. In March 1995, the university held a debate called "''Creatividad Presidencial''" (Presidential Creativity) between Javier Pérez de Cuéllar and Alberto Fujimori. In that same year, a new system of admission called ''Selección Preferente'' was created, for those students who had finished high school in the upper third ranking of their classes. The Popular Action ( es, Acción Popular, AP) is a liberal and reformist political party in Peru, founded by former Peruvian president Fernando Belaúnde Terry. Mesías Antonio Guevara Amasifuén (born 13 June 1963) is a Peruvian politician and engineer, currently serving as the Governor of Cajamarca since 2019. A member of the Popular Action party, he currently serves as the party's president since 2014. He was previously a Congressman, representing Cajamarca between 2011 and 2016. Los Olivos is a district of the Lima Province in Peru. Is a District of the Cono Norte area in the city of Lima. History In the Viceroyalty and early years of the republic, it was part of the great territory of Carabayllo. In the mid-16th century, when the encomienda system failed, the Lima Cabildo granted land to Nicolás de Ribera in the Chillón Valley and to Francisco de Ampuero in Chuquitanta. General elections were held in Peru on 11 April 2021. The presidential election, which determined the President of Peru, president and the Vice President of Peru, vice presidents, required a run-off between the two top candidates, which was held on 6 June. George Patrick Forsyth Sommer (born 20 June 1982) is a Peruvian politician and former international footballer. Forsyth played as a goalkeeper for Alianza Lima, Borussia Dortmund II, Atlético Universidad, Sport Boys and Atalanta, and he also earned 7 caps for the Peru national team.
