Peruvian Union University ( es, Universidad Peruana Unión) is a Seventh-day Adventist university in Lima, Peru. It is the second largest of ten Adventist universities in South America. Its acronym is "UPeU". It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system. Founded in 1919 as part of the Industrial College (today the Miraflores Adventist College) in Miraflores, Lima, it was the first higher education facility started by Seventh-day Adventists in Peru. Campus The main campus of Peruvian Union University is at km 19.5, Carretera Central, Ñaña, Lima, Peru. There are also campuses at Tarapoto and Juliaca. Juliaca
Juliaca (Quechua and ay, Hullaqa) is the capital of San Roman Province in the Puno Region of southeastern Peru. It is the region's largest city with a population of 276,110 inhabitants ( 2017). On the Altiplano, Juliaca is above sea level, is located on the Collao Plateau and is northwest of Lake Titicaca (45 km). It is the largest trade center in the Puno region. Tarapoto
Tarapoto is a commercial hub town in the San Martín Province of the Department of San Martín of northern Peru. It is an hour by plane from Lima, in the high jungle plateau to the east of what is known as the ''selva baja'' (low jungle). Although Moyobamba is the capital of the region, Tarapoto is the region's largest city and is linked to the Upper Amazon and the historic city of Yurimaguas by a relatively well-maintained transandean highway, paved in 2008–9. Miraflores is a district of the Lima Province in Peru. It is a residential and upscale shopping district south of downtown Lima. It is also one of the most affluent districts that make up the city of Lima.
