Persatuan Sepakbola Surabaya ( 'Football Association of Surabaya'), commonly known as Persebaya Surabaya or simply Persebaya, is an Indonesian professional association football, football club based in Surabaya, East Java. It currently plays in the Liga 1 (Indonesia), Liga 1, the top flight of Indonesian football. It is regarded as one of the most iconic and successful teams in the country, winning numerous Indonesian League titles and tournaments. Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium
Stadion Gelora Bung Tomo is a multi-purpose stadium in Benowo, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. It is a part of the Surabaya Sports Center. The rest of the sports complex consists of an indoor stadium and a mosque. This stadium is used mostly for Association football, football matches. It replaced the older Gelora 10 November Stadium.The stadium is used for football matches and is a new base for Persebaya Surabaya. GBT can accommodate 40,000 spectators. The stadium is named after Sutomo, Bung Tomo, who is a National Hero of Indonesia. It will host matches of the 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup. History Groundbreaking occurred on 1 January 2008. 2017 Liga 2 (Indonesia)
The 2017 Liga 2 was the inaugural season of the Liga 2 under its current name, and the eighth season under its current league structure. Persebaya won the title after a 3–2 win over PSMS in the final at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Bandung on 28 November 2017. Overview Player regulations Starting this season Liga 2 was an under-25 tournament (born on or after 1 January 1992), with a maximum of five overage players allowed. Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium ( id, Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno; literally "Bung Karno Sports Arena Main Stadium"), formerly Senayan Main Stadium and Gelora Senayan Main Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located at the center of the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Persema
Persema, an acronym for Persatuan Sepakbola Malang is an Indonesian football club based in Malang, East Java. They currently compete in the Liga 3. History The club was officially established in 1953, with primary funding from Malang's municipal budget. It was part of the Indonesian Super League until January 2011 when they hosted LPI's inaugural match and stopped relying on public funds. The other local team, Arema FC, is one of the most successful clubs in ISL. The team's nickname is "Bledeg Biru" while its home stadium is Gajayana Stadium. Persema has never won a trophy during its years in the Indonesian Super League, mostly dwelling in the mid to bottom part of the table.
