Cássia Eller
Cássia Rejane Eller (Portuguese: /ˈkasjɐ ʁeˈʒɐni ˈɛleʁ/) (December 10, 1962 – December 29, 2001) was a Brazilian singer and musician. She came to prominence in the early 1990s and performed a mix of rock and MPB. Eller released five studio albums in her lifetime: '' Cássia Eller'' (1990), '' O Marginal'' (1992), '' Cássia Eller'' (1994), '' Veneno AntiMonotonia'' (1997) and '' Com Você... Meu Mundo Ficaria Completo'' (1999). Her sixth studio album, ''Dez de Dezembro'' (2002) was released posthumously. Eller's most successful album was '' Acústico MTV – Cássia Eller'' (2001), selling over 1 million copies. She was ranked as the 18th greatest vocalist and 40th greatest Brazilian musician by ''Rolling Stone Brasil''. Som Livre
Som Livre (Portuguese for "''Free Sound''") is a Brazilian record company that was founded in 1969 in order to commercialize its soap opera soundtracks. It later expanded to recording studio albums. Today, Som Livre is Brazil's largest domestic label and was formerly part of Grupo Globo, which is the biggest media conglomerate in Brazil. In November 2020, Globo placed the label up for sale. In April 2021, it was acquired by Sony Music Entertainment for an undisclosed amount. Djavan Caetano Viana (; born 27 January 1949) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter. Early life and career Djavan was born in Maceió, Brazil to a white father of Dutch descent and a black mother. He later formed the group Luz, Som, Dimensão (LSD – "Light, Sound, Dimension"), playing Beatles' material. In 1973, Djavan moved to Rio de Janeiro and started singing soap opera soundtracks. "Brasil" is a pop-rock song written and performed by Cazuza, recorded as the sixth track in his third solo album '' Ideologia'' (1988). The most well-known version of this song was recorded as a samba by Gal Costa on the soundtrack album of the telenovela '' Vale Tudo'' (1988).
