The UCI Continental Circuits are a series of road bicycle racing competitions which were introduced in 2005 by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to expand cycling around the world. For the 2005 to 2007 seasons, some classics formed part of the UCI ProTour run by the Union Cycliste Internationale. Matteo Moschetti (born 14 August 1996) is an Italian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career Early years As a junior, Moschetti raced on the road and track, winning the junior national team pursuit championships in 2014 with teammates Giovanni Pedretti, Imerio Cima and Giacomo Garavaglia. In 2017, Moschetti won his second national championship when he won the under-23 race at the Italian National Road Race Championships. At the end of the season, Moschetti rode as a stagiaire for . Felix Engelhardt (born 19 August 2000) is a German professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career At the 2021 Tour of the Alps Engelhardt won the red Sprints jersey for winning the most intermediate sprint points he did this by attacking and being in the breakaway during multiple stages. In July 2022 during the 2022 European Road Championships Engelhardt rode the Under-23 Road race and attacked with 3 other riders on the final lap, they managed to stay away. Engelhardt contested the sprint and became the European champion. On 8 August 2022 it was announced that Engelhardt would join on a two year contract from 2023. Alfredo Martini
Alfredo Martini (18 February 1921 – 25 August 2014) was an Italian cyclist and coach from Sesto Fiorentino, north of Florence. Professional from 1941 to 1957, he won a stage in the 1950 Giro d'Italia and was later the coach of the Italian national team. He also rode in the 1949 Tour de France. In 2021, in honour of Martini's 100th birthday, the one-day race Per sempre Alfredo was first held; the race finishes in Martini's home town of Sesto Fiorentino. Under his 22-year tenure as head coach, Italy got six gold medals at the Road World Championships with 5 different cyclists (Francesco Moser, Giuseppe Saronni, Moreno Argentin, Maurizio Fondriest once each and Gianni Bugno twice), plus seven silver and as many bronze medals. The 2021 Per sempre Alfredo was the 1st edition of the Per sempre Alfredo road cycling one day race, which was held on 21 March 2021, starting in the city of Florence and finishing in Alfredo Martini's home town of Sesto Fiorentino. The race was won in a sprint by Matteo Moschetti () ahead of Mikel Aristi () and Samuele Zambelli (Italy). Teams Two UCI WorldTeams, seven UCI ProTeams, ten UCI Continental teams, and the Italian national team made up the twenty teams that participated in the race. The 2023 Per sempre Alfredo was the 3rd edition of the Per sempre Alfredo road cycling one day race, which was held on 19 March 2023, starting in the city of Florence and finishing in Alfredo Martini's home town of Sesto Fiorentino. The race was won in a sprint by Felix Engelhardt () ahead of Mark Stewart () and Anders Foldager .
