People's Reform Party (Papua New Guinea)
The People's Reform Party (Philippines) ( abbrev. PRP) is a political party in the Philippines. Founded on April 12, 1991, as the political party of former Agrarian Reform Secretary Miriam Defensor Santiago for her bid as president in the 1992 Presidential Elections. During the 1992 Elections, the party nominated Santiago as president and Ramon Magsaysay, Jr. as vice president, however both Santiago and Magsaysay lost the elections to former Defense Secretary Fidel Ramos and then-Senator Joseph Estrada, respectively. The Force of Reform Philippines (FORPH) serves as the official youth-wing of the People's Reform Party. Youth Reform Movement Philippines (YRMPH) is a non-profit sociopolitical organization composed of the youth sector registered within the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission, operating globally through a network of young Filipino university students and youth leaders with particular interest in Philippine political and sociocivic affairs. The organization was formerly known as Youth for Miriam, the youth arm of the 2016 presidential campaign of Miriam Defensor Santiago, initially partnering with People's Reform Party, the political party of Defensor Santiago. Mike Defensor
Michael Tan Defensor (, born June 30, 1969) is a Filipino politician who most recently served as the Party-list Representative for Anakalusugan from 2019 to 2022. He is also the CEO of Pax Libera Mining, Inc. Defensor began his political career in Quezon City, where he was a member of the city council from 1992 to 1995. He was elected as representative of the city's 3rd district in 1995. Francisco "Kit" Sarmiento Tatad (born October 4, 1939) is a Filipino journalist and politician best known for having served as Minister of Public Information under President Ferdinand Marcos from 1969 to 1980, and for serving as a Senator of the Philippines from 1992 to 2001. Upon his appointment by President Marcos, Tatad became the youngest member of Marcos' cabinet.
