Peggy O'Dare
Peggy O'Dare (born Ella Aarup; September 3, 1898 – August 24, 1959) was an American actress active during Hollywood's silent era. She is often confused with fellow silent-era actress Peggy O'Day. Peggy O'Day (born Genevieve Berte, June 16, 1900 - November 25, 1964) was an American actress, film editor, screenwriter, and stuntwoman active during the 1920s and 1930s. She was sometimes credited under her birth name. and she is often confused with fellow silent-era actress Peggy O'Dare. Biography O'Day was born in Ohio to Harry Berte and Maude Hopkins. Her father was a professional baseball player. She was raised in Kentucky and Missouri, and was the couple's only child. She said that she grew up poor, and she later gave donations to children's charities as an adult. O'Day moved to Los Angeles in her teens to begin her career as an actress and found work as a Christie bathing beauty. In 1921, she rejected an offer to join the Orpheum circuit as a vaudeville star. San Pedro High School is a public high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District and is located in the San Pedro portion of the city of Los Angeles, California. L-KO Kompany
The L-KO Kompany, or L-KO Komedies, was an American motion picture company founded by Henry Lehrman that produced silent one-, two- and very occasionally three-reel comedy shorts between 1914 and 1919. The initials L-KO stand for "Lehrman KnockOut". History By the spring of 1914, Henry "Pathé" Lehrman had directed several important Keystone Kops comedies including ''The Bangville Police'' (1913) and ''Kid Auto Races at Venice'' (1914), Charlie Chaplin's debut. Wooed away from Mack Sennett by producer Fred J.
