Peanuts (2006 Film)
is a 2006 Japanese comedy baseball film written and directed by Teruyoshi Uchimura. Plot Koichi Akiyoshi, the legendary third baseman in the former prestigious grass baseball team "Peanuts", will start to rebuild the Peanuts. They have become a weak team. Peanuts will fight against powerful teams, taking advantage of the redevelopment of the city where captain and Sagara live. Teruyoshi Uchimura
, half of the Japanese comedy duo Utchan Nanchan, is one of the most famous and influential comedians in the owarai community. His nickname is ''Utchan'' ("Wutchan"), and his partner, Kiyotaka Nanbara, is known as ''Nanchan''. He was born on July 22, 1964 in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto. Though he has worked for years as a comedian, he has also shown talent as an actor and dramatic performer. He is well known as the leader of the ''owarai'' band NO PLAN. History Uchimura met Nanbara while attending the Yokohama Broadcasting Technical School, along with Tetsurō Degawa and Masato Irie, who were also classmates. The two decided to start a manzai duo, and they were called ''Utchan Nanchan'' by their teacher, Keiko Utsumi. They first appeared on the show ''Owarai sutaa tanjō!!'' Cream Stew (くりぃむしちゅー) is the name of a Japanese comedy kombi consisting of two comedians, Shinya Ueda (上田晋也) and Teppei Arita (有田哲平). Originally from Kumamoto city, the pair first met in high school when Arita and Ueda found a common interest in pro wrestling. Both of them attended Waseda and Rikkyo Universities, but dropped out to pursue comedy. More than 15 years later, Ueda and Arita are popular personalities on Japanese television, and can be seen performing daily, often on multiple shows in one day, sometimes on different channels simultaneously.
