Pazhani (2008 Film)
''Pazhani'' is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Perarasu. It stars Bharath, Kajal Aggarwal and Khushbu Sundar. It was Bharath's first film as an action hero with a new mass image and also marked Kajal’s Tamil debut. The film, produced by director Sakthi Chidambaram under the banner Cinema Paradise, had musical score by Srikanth Deva. The film was formally launched on 10 August 2007 and was released on 14 January 2008 which coincided with the Thai Pongal festival. It received mostly mixed to positive reviews and become a super hit at the box office. It was later dubbed into Telugu language, Telugu as ''Bhargava'' and into Hindi as ''Shaktishali Shiva''. Perarasu
Perarasu (born 8 January 1967) is an Indian film director who works primarily in Tamil film industry. As a director, he is best known for his commercial Tamil movies with actors Vijay and Bharath Srinivasan. He has also been credited as an actor, music director, singer and lyricist in some of his ventures. Personal life Perarasu, was born on 8 January 1967 in Natarasankottai in Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu. Perarasu, married Shanthi at Nattarasankottai on June 11, 2000. A female child Viruthika was born to them in July 2001. When Shanthi conceived a second time, she was given abortion pills, she fell ill and was sent by Perarasu to her parents. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi. Thangam
''Thangam'' ( en, Gold) is a 2008 Tamil action film starring Sathyaraj and Goundamani about the life of a village do-gooder in Tamil Nadu. Plot Set in a small town near Coimbatore, 'Thangam' portrays tw families headed by Rajendranath and Mahadevan respectively. Alex (1959 – 1 May 2011) was an Indian actor and magician. He appeared in over 100 Tamil films after making his debut in Rajinikanth's production ''Valli'' (1993) and won awards for his portrayal of characters in ''Mitta Miraasu'' and ''Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi''.
