Andrea Pavan
Andrea Pavan (born 27 April 1989) is an Italian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He has won twice on the tour, the 2018 D+D Real Czech Masters and the 2019 BMW International Open. Amateur career Pavan won the Italian Amateur Strokeplay Championship in 2005 at the age of 16, and subsequently opted to join the collegiate circuit in the USA. He spent four years studying at Texas A&M enjoying a successful career on the golf team, including winning a collegiate event in 2010 and being part of the team which won the 2009 NCAA Men's Golf Championship. He also enjoyed success in Europe, winning further events in his home country and finishing runner-up in the prestigious European Amateur. Professional career Pavan turned professional in 2010. Crodowaldo Pavan (; December 1, 1919 – April 3, 2009) was a Brazilian biologist and geneticist, and a scientific leader in Brazil. Early life Pavan was born to a family of second-generation immigrants from Italy in 1919, in the city of Campinas, São Paulo state, Brazil. His great-grandfather was an expert in textile paints and a militant anarchist, who was frequently persecuted and imprisoned in Italy as well as in Brazil for his political activism. As a boy, influenced by his father's porcelain manufacturing plant at Mogi das Cruzes, he wished to follow a career in engineering, but changed radically when he had the opportunity in high school to attend a lecture by noted French physician and professor André Dreyfus and a screening of the film "The Story of Louis Pasteur", starring Oscar-winning actor Paul Muni in the title role. Marisa Pavan
Marisa Pavan (born Maria Luisa Pierangeli; 19 June 1932) is an Italian actress who first became known as the twin sister of film star Pier Angeli (Anna Maria Pierangeli) before achieving success in her own screen career. Early life and career Pavan and her twin sister, Pier Angeli, were born in 1932 in Cagliari, Sardinia, the children of Enrichetta (née Romiti) and Luigi Pierangeli, a construction engineer. The two girls also had a younger sister, Patrizia Pierangeli, who became an actress as well. Pavan had no dramatic training when she signed a Hollywood contract with Paramount at age 19. Although her screen debut was in 1952 in ''What Price Glory'', Pavan's breakthrough role came three years later, when she was cast as Anna Magnani's daughter in ''The Rose Tattoo''. Rebecca Ann Pavan (born ) is a Canadian retired female volleyball player. She was a member of the Canada women's national volleyball team and played for MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza in 2016. She was part of the Canadian national team at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy. Pavan played collegiate volleyball at the University of Kentucky. Sarah Lindsey Pavan (born August 16, 1986) is a Canadian beach volleyball and former indoor volleyball player. She was part of the Canada women's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan. With Melissa Humana-Paredes she won the women's gold medal at the 2019 Beach Volleyball World Championships. College indoor volleyball career Pavan played college volleyball at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she led her team to win the 2006 NCAA Division I women's volleyball tournament, in which she was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Simone Pavan (born 29 April 1974) is an Italian football coach and former player. Playing career He spent most of his career with S.S.C. Venezia in both Serie A and Serie B, and has also represented Atalanta B.C., Modena F.C., U.C. Sampdoria, and A.S. Livorno Calcio in the top-flight Serie A championship. He also played three games for the Italy national under-21 football team. Coaching career He took over his first head coaching role at Modena, first serving as a caretaker after Walter Novellino's dismissal in March 2015.
