Pauline Hanson's One Nation – South Australia, or One Nation – South Australia, is a political party branch of the Pauline Hanson's One Nation party. Officially registered to the Electoral Commission of South Australia (ECSA) in September 2021, the party won a seat in the upper house of the South Australian Parliament in March 2022 at the state election, receiving over four percent of the vote. The party leader is Jennifer Game, a policy adviser to party leader Pauline Hanson, and mother to One Nation MLC Sarah Game. Although stating “in some ways I am quite conservative but I also think I’m very open-minded,” MLC Game has also said that “I just don’t probably like aligning myself with a particular label...”. In Australian politics, Hansonism is the political ideology of Pauline Hanson, the leader of One Nation, and those that follow her. The term has been used since 1998, and was added to ''The Australian National Dictionary'' in 2018. Ideology Hansonism has been described as a form of right-wing populism. A common theme within Hansonism is the idea that the "multiculturalist elite" are manipulating "hardworking Australians" into supporting certain policies, such as Indigenous land rights and welcome to country ceremonies. Hansonism believes that such rights for minority groups, such as for Indigenous Australians, are forms of reverse racism and are anti-equality. David Ettridge
David William Ettridge (born 8 June 1945 in Adelaide, Australia) is an Australian businessman who co-founded Pauline Hanson's One Nation in 1997 with Pauline Hanson and David Oldfield. Ettridge was One Nation's professional fundraiser and administered and marketed the One Nation party. Leading a small team he helped to set up 350 branches throughout Australia and admitted 18,000 members to the party. On 20 August 2003, a jury from the District Court of Queensland convicted Hanson and Ettridge of electoral fraud and the Chief Judge sentenced both to three years without parole for fraudulently registering the One Nation Party. Prosecutors had alleged that the use of a list of 500 paid-up members of a One Nation supporters group as members for the purpose of registering the party had been fraudulent.
