Paul Stanley (born Stanley Bert Eisen; January 20, 1952) is an American musician who is the co-founder, frontman, rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the hard rock band Kiss. He is the writer or co-writer of many of the band's most popular songs. Stanley established The Starchild character for his Kiss persona. Stanley was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as a member of Kiss. In 2006, ''Hit Parader'' ranked him 18th on their list of the Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time. A Gibson.com readers' poll in 2010 named him 13th on their list of Top 25 Frontmen. ''Paul Stanley'' is the first solo studio album from American musician Paul Stanley, the singer-songwriter is best known for serving as the rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist of hard rock band Kiss. It was one of four solo albums released by the members of Kiss on September 18, 1978, coming out alongside ''Peter Criss'', ''Ace Frehley'', and ''Gene Simmons''. It is the only release out of the four Kiss solo albums to feature all original songs, as Simmons, Criss and Frehley each recorded one cover song on their albums. Reception The album reached No. 40 on the US ''Billboard'' album chart. AllMusic gave the album 3 stars out of 5 and said that it is the most "Kiss-like" out of all the Kiss solo albums. Paul Stanley (born 1963) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Waynesburg University and had a four-year career in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL), where he was the league's scoring champion in 1987. Between 1981 and 1985, Stanley played four seasons of college basketball for the Waynesburg University Yellow Jackets. He graduated as the school's all-time leader in totals points, finishing with 1,916 points in 111 career games. He led the team in scoring as a sophomore (16.4 ppg) and senior (21.7 ppg), and during his senior season, he had a 38-point effort against Westminster. In 1986, Stanley made his debut in the Australian NBL with the Melbourne Tigers. He scored 40 points or more five time, including having a 50-point game. Paul Stanley (né Sonnenberg) (February 8, 1848 – March 14, 1909) was a German-born American composer and vaudeville comedian who some credit (but most do not) with writing the music for the ditty Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay for Henry F. Sayers' 1891 musical entertainment, ''Tuxedo''. Life and career Paul Sonnenberg was born in Hamburg, Germany, and came to America at the age of 16, where he eventually began entertaining as a vaudeville and club comedian under a stage name, Paul Stanley. Paul Stanley (born June 1, 1962 in Savannah, Tennessee) is an American politician and a Republican former member of the Tennessee Senate. He was elected as a state senator to the 105th Tennessee General Assembly, after having previously served in the Tennessee House of Representatives during the 102nd, 103rd, and 104th General Assemblies. Stanley represented the 31st district, which is part of Shelby County. During his time in office, Stanley served in leadership roles in many Republican organizations. In 1995, he was the Vice-Chair of Finance of the Shelby County Republican Party. From 1995 to 1997, he was the State Chairman of the Tennessee Young Republican Federation.
