Paul Robinson (born 28 May 1984 in Newcastle upon Tyne) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for North Shields. He notably played in the Football League for Grimsby Town, where he was on loan from Tranmere Rovers. He left Rovers in 2004 having failed to make an appearance and went on to feature for Vauxhall Motors, York City, Bedlington Terriers, Newcastle Blue Star and Whitley Bay. Career Robinson was associated with his home-town club Newcastle United as a schoolboy, then moved to Tranmere Rovers as a 16-year-old. He turned professional in 2002, spent time on loan to Vauxhall Motors of the Northern Premier League, and scored well in youth and reserve team football, but in August 2003 was allowed to join Football League Two club York City on a two-game trial with a view to a possible loan or permanent move. Northern Premier League
The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia. Paul Derrick Robinson (born 20 November 1978) is an English footballer who has had a career in league and non-league football. Robinson is a much-travelled player, having featured for over twenty teams in his career. Due to his frequent moving, he has only passed thirty league appearances for one club, during his time with Hartlepool United. Club career Darlington Robinson was born in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear and began his career as a trainee with Darlington, making his debut, as a late substitute for Robbie Blake in a 4–1 win away to Runcorn in the FA Cup first round on 16 November 1996. Macclesfield Town F
Macclesfield is a market town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East in Cheshire, England. Blundell Park
Blundell Park is a football ground in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England and home to Grimsby Town Football Club. The stadium was built in 1899, but only one of the original stands remains. The current capacity of the ground is 9,052, after being made all-seater in summer 1995, reducing the number from around 27,000. Several relegations in previous years meant the expansion seating was also taken away; that reduced the capacity further from around 12,000 to what it is now. The stadium is Grimsby Town's fourth ground, having previously played at Clee Park, Lovett Street and Abbey Park in the club's first twenty years of existence. Jon Daly (footballer)
Jonathan Marvin Daly (born 8 January 1983) is an Irish football coach and former player who played as a forward. He began his senior career in England, where he played for Stockport County and Hartlepool United; he also had loan spells with Bury and Grimsby Town. He moved to Scottish football in 2007, when he signed for Dundee United. He spent over six years at the club, eventually becoming club captain, and won the Scottish Cup in 2010. He signed for Rangers in 2013, winning the League One title in his first season. He was described as the first Irish Catholic to join Rangers, a team with a Protestant identity.
