Paul Lafargue (racing Driver)
Paul Lafargue (born 8 July 1988) is a French racing driver currently competing in the European Le Mans Series LMP2 class for IDEC Sport. Lafargue won the 2019 European Le Mans Series championship driving for IDEC Sport. Lafargue has also competed in the International GT Open and the Le Mans Cup, as well as several classic car races. European Le Mans Series
The European Le Mans Series (abbreviated as ELMS) is a European sports car racing endurance series inspired by the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The European Le Mans Series is similar to the former American Le Mans Series (ALMS) based in the United States and Canada that was running with ACO and International Motor Sports Association, IMSA between 1999 and 2013. 2017 European Le Mans Series
The 2017 European Le Mans Series season was the fourteenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season began at Silverstone Circuit, in conjunction with the FIA World Endurance Championship, on 15 April and ended at Algarve International Circuit on 22 October. Regulations The 2017 season sees new regulations regarding the LMP2 class introduced. Teams are able to choose from four different chassis constructors: Dallara, Onroak Automotive (Ligier), Oreca and a joint-venture between Riley Technologies/Multimatic. Gibson Technology is the exclusive engine supplier for the class, with all cars equipped with a 4.2-litre, normally-aspirated V8 engine, producing approximately 600 hp. The 2023 European Le Mans Series will be the twentieth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season will begin at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 23 April and will finish at Algarve International Circuit on 22 October. The series is open to Le Mans Prototypes, divided into the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, and grand tourer-style racing cars in the LMGTE class. The season will be the last for the LMGTE class. Imola Circuit
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence. Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. During this period, two Grands Prix were held in Italy every year, with the Italian Grand Prix taking place at Monza, so the Imola race was named after the nearby state. Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. The Oreca 07 is a Le Mans Prototype built by French manufacturer Oreca to meet the 2017 FIA and ACO LMP2 regulations. It made its official race debut in the opening round of the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the 24 Hours of Daytona, and its FIA World Endurance Championship debut at the 2017 6 Hours of Silverstone.
