Paul Jones (American Football)
Paul Jones (born May 17, 1992) is an American football quarterback. He played for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2010 to 2012. He transferred to Robert Morris University and played for the Robert Morris Colonials in 2013. Early years Jones grew up in McKees Rocks, PA and attended Sto-Rox School District where he played high school football under Jason Ruscitto. Recruiting College career Jones graduated high school early and enrolled for the spring semester at Penn State in the spring of 2009. During his freshman season in 2010, Jones was a Redshirt and served as the quarterback on Penn State's scout team. While he showed promise and was expected to compete for the quarterback job in 2011, he had academic troubles and was forced to sit out due to ineligibility. He did regain eligibility for the 2012 season. Sto-Rox High School
Sto-Rox High School is a high school located in the West Park neighborhood of Stowe Township, Pennsylvania. It is the only high school of the Sto-Rox School District, which educates the children of Stowe Township and the borough of McKees Rocks. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, in 2010, the school reported an enrollment of 409 pupils in grades 9th through 12th, with 316 pupils eligible for a federal free or reduced price lunch. The school employed 35 teachers yielding a student teacher ratio of 11.79:1. The 2012 Navy Midshipmen football team represented the United States Naval Academy as an independent in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. Robert Craig Bolden, Jr. (born February 20, 1992) is a former American football quarterback. After attending St. Mary's Preparatory School in Orchard Lake, Michigan, he played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2010 to 2011. He transferred to Louisiana State University and was a member of the LSU football team from 2012 to 2013. Matthew James "Matt" McGloin (born December 2, 1989) is a former American football quarterback. He was the starting quarterback for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team from 2010 to 2012. McGloin was the first walk-on quarterback to start at Penn State since scholarships were reinstated in 1949. Prior to his college career, McGloin was a Pennsylvania all-state quarterback while attending West Scranton High School. He spent six seasons in the NFL, mainly with the Oakland Raiders.
