Paul Cameron (gridiron Football)
Paul Leslie Cameron (born August 17, 1932) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive back for one season with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the eighth round of the 1954 NFL Draft. Cameron played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles and attended Burbank High School in Burbank, California. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs.
