Patrick Kelly (Clare Hurler)
Patrick Kelly (born 30 September 1986) is an Irish hurler who plays as a goalkeeper for club side Inagh-Kilnamona and is a former member of the Clare senior hurling team. Kelly attended NUI Galway. Playing career St. Flannan's College Kelly first enjoyed major success playing with the St. Flannan's College team. In 2005 he was in goal as St. Flannan's faced Thurles CBS in the provincial decider, and made a great save to deny Brian Moran and an almost certain Thurles comeback. A 1-11 to 1-6 victory gave Kelly a Harty Cup medal. The subsequent All-Ireland decider saw St. Flannan's face St. Kieran's College. Kelly was singled out for particular praise in the 2-15 to 2-12 victory, giving him an All-Ireland medal. Inagh-Kilnamona Kelly plays his club hurling with Inagh-Kilnamona. Ennis
Ennis () is the county town of County Clare, in the mid-west of Ireland. The town lies on the River Fergus, north of where the river widens and enters the Shannon Estuary. Donal Tuohy
Donal Tuohy (born 20 September 1989) is an Irish hurling, hurler who plays as a goalkeeper for club side Crusheen GAA, Crusheen and at inter-county level with the Clare senior hurling team. Tuohy attended NUI Galway. He was part of the university hurling team during their winning 2010 Fitzgibbon Cup campaign. He left the Clare hurling team in 2021. GAA All Stars Awards
The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Additionally, one player in each code is selected as Player of the Year. The awards were instituted in 1971. Since 2011 they have been presented jointly by the Gaelic Athletic Association and the representative body for inter-county players, the Gaelic Players Association. Each player who receives a nomination is given a medallion marking the milestone. It is considered "the most coveted sporting award scheme in the country". All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition in Ireland, and has been contested every year except one since 1887. The final, currently held on the third Sunday in August, is the culmination of a series of games played during July and August, with the winning team receiving the Liam MacCarthy Cup. Darach Honan
Darach Honan (born 21 March 1990 in Clonlara, County Clare, Ireland) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Clonlara and was a member of the Clare senior inter-county team from 2010 until 2017. Early life Born in Clonlara, County Clare, Honan is the son of Colm Honan, a former Clare hurler, and Máire Ní Ghráda, an academic and native of Cork. Honan was educated at the local national school before attending Ard Scoil Rís in Limerick. Here he concentrated on basketball and enjoyed much success at All-Ireland level with the school. Conor McGrath
Conor McGrath (born 29 May 1991) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left corner-forward for the Clare senior team. Born in Ennis, County Clare, McGrath was introduced to hurling by his father, a Toomevara native who was heavily involved in hurling coaching. He developed his skills in the Harty Cup with St. Caimin's Community School, while simultaneously becoming involved at underage levels with the Cratloe club. A dual player at the highest level, McGrath has won two championship medals each in both hurling and Gaelic football. Shane O'Donnell
Shane O'Donnell (born 15 June 1994) is an Irish hurler who played as a forward for the Clare senior team. Born in Ennis, County Clare, O'Donnell first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Clare minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side. He made his senior debut in the 2013 Waterford Crystal Cup. O'Donnell has since gone on to play a key part for Clare, and has won one All-Ireland medal and one Waterford Crystal Cup medal. Domhnall O'Donovan
Domhnall O'Donovan (born 29 April 1988) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for the Clare senior team. Born in Clonlara, County Clare, O'Donovan first played competitive hurling whilst at school in St. Munchin's College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-one when he first linked up with the Clare under-21 team. He made his senior debut in the 2010 Waterford Crystal Cup. Anthony Nash (hurler)
Anthony Nash (born 12 October 1984) is a retired Irish hurling, hurler who played for the Kanturk GAA, Kanturk and Limerick Senior Hurling Championship, Limerick Championship Club South Liberties GAA, South Liberties clubs. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 15 seasons, during which time he lined out as a goalkeeper. Nash began his hurling career at club level with Kanturk GAA, Kanturk.
