Patrick Dougherty (American Football)
Patrick Dougherty (born September 2, 1985) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the Special teams coordinator at Texas A&M University. He was previously the Special Teams Coordinator and Tight Ends coach for Duke University. His previous coaching stops include Defiance College, Lindsey Wilson College, Northwestern University, and nine seasons at Ball State University. Playing career Dougherty was a four-year letterman at linebacker, starting for two seasons, at Ohio Dominican from 2004 to 2007. He earned Academica All-Conference honors three times. Coaching career Defiance College Immediately following his playing career, Dougherty joined the staff at Defiance College coaching the defensive line for two seasons in 2008 and 2009. John James "Jimbo" Fisher Jr. (born October 9, 1965) is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies Football, Texas A&M Aggies. Michael Elko (born July 28, 1977) is an American college football coach who is currently the head coach at Duke University. He was previously the defensive coordinator for Texas A&M from 2018 until his hiring by Duke on December 10, 2021. Early life Raised in South Brunswick, New Jersey, Elko graduated in 1995 from South Brunswick High School, where he played baseball, basketball and was the quarterback for the school's football team. The Arizona Bowl is a postseason college football bowl game certified by the NCAA that began play in the 2015 season. The game is held at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, and starting in 2020 has tie-ins with the Mountain West Conference and Mid-American Conference (MAC). The 2021 game was cancelled due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the Boise State team. Michael David Neu (born December 29, 1970) is an American football coach and former quarterback, who is the current head football coach of the Ball State Cardinals. He played college football at Ball State for Paul Schudel from 1990 to 1993 and played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for one season and the Arena Football League (AFL) for 2 seasons from 1995 to 1997. Patrick William Fitzgerald Jr. (born December 2, 1974) is the current head coach of the Northwestern University Wildcats football team. He was selected after the unexpected death of Randy Walker and announced at a press conference on July 7, 2006. He was 31 at the time, making him the youngest head football coach in the Big Ten Conference and NCAA Division I FBS by five years. Fitzgerald would go on to become the longest-tenured head coach in Northwestern football history and entering the 2022 season is the fifth longest-tenured head coach in Division I FBS. Peter Lembo (born April 16, 1970) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the associate head coach and special teams coordinator at the University of South Carolina.
