Passions
''Passions'' is an American television soap opera that originally aired on NBC from July 5, 1999, to September 7, 2007, and on DirecTV's The 101 Network from September 17, 2007, to August 7, 2008. Created by screenwriter James E. Reilly and produced by NBC Studios, ''Passions'' follows the lives, loves and various romantic and paranormal adventures of the residents of Harmony, a small town in New England with many secrets. Storylines center on the interactions among members of its multi-racial core families: the African American Russells, the white Cranes and Bennetts, and half-Mexican half-Irish Lopez-Fitzgeralds. The series also features supernatural elements, which focus mainly on town witch Tabitha Lenox (Juliet Mills) and her doll-come-to life, Timmy (Josh Ryan Evans). Russell Family (Passions)
The Russell family is a fictional family depicted on the American soap opera ''Passions'', which aired on NBC (1999–2007) and later on DirecTV (2007–2008). The family was created by the soap's founder and head writer James E. Reilly; it originally consisted of four characters—the married couple Eve and T.C. Russell, and their children Whitney and Simone. The Russells are one of the four core families in the fictional town of Harmony, and are characterized by their friendship with the Bennetts and Lopez-Fitzgeralds and their feud with the Cranes. As the series progressed, four more characters were added to the family: Eve's vengeful, adoptive sister Liz Sanbourne; Eve's child with Julian Crane, Vincent Clarkson; Whitney's husband and Liz's son, Chad Harris-Crane; and Eve's aunt Irma Johnson. Josh Ryan Evans
Joshua Ryan Evans (January 10, 1982 – August 5, 2002) was an American actor who became known for his role of Timmy Lenox in the soap opera ''Passions''. Though he was 17 years old when ''Passions'' debuted, Evans had the appearance and voice of a small child due to achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. He was tall. Early life and career Born in Hayward, California, Evans began his career at age 12, appearing in various commercials. He made his film debut as a toddler in ''Baby Geniuses'' in 1999. The following year he played the role of the young Grinch (Jim Carrey's character) in ''How the Grinch Stole Christmas''. He also appeared as General Tom Thumb in the A&E miniseries ''P.T. Barnum''. Timmy Lenox is a fictional character from the NBC/DirecTV daytime drama ''Passions'' portrayed by Josh Ryan Evans. The actor died of a congenital heart defect the very day his character Timmy died on the show and donated his heart to Charity Standish. Storylines Timmy was originally a doll created by the town witch Tabitha Lenox as a sidekick in her various evil schemes against the people of Harmony. Timmy had a good heart though and came to love Charity Standish, a main target of Tabitha's evil, for her innocence and kindness. She is the daughter of actor Sir John Mills and Mary Hayley Bell and the eldest of three siblings; her younger siblings are actress Hayley Mills and director Jonathan Mills.
