The Decentralist Social Force Party ( es, Partido Descentralista Fuerza Social) also known as Social Force ( es, Fuerza Social) was a centre-left, social democratic, Peruvian political party. Founded in 1997 as the Party for Social Democracy ( es, Partido por la Democracia Social), in 2007 it changed to its current name after incorporating members of the CONREDES de Junín Movement and the Cajamarca Social Force movement. History In 1999, in an assembly in Carabayllo, the Party for Social Democracy - Commitment for Peru was officially founded, being its first national coordinator Francisco Guerra-García. In 2000, in another assembly, Susana Villarán was elected as the national coordinator. Citizen Force (Peru)
Citizen Force ( es, Fuerza Ciudadana) is a democratic socialist and progressive political party from Peru. Founded in October 2019, the party was institutionalized out of the union of the Decentralist Social Force and Citizens for Change. History Formally announced following the dissolution of the Congress of the Republic of Peru, the party participated in the Together for Peru coalition for the 2020 parliamentary election. Upon the election's poor results as no seats were won, the party left the coalition, and filed for official registration at the National Jury of Elections. The registration was ultimately unsuccessful, as the party was not going to reach the deadline in order to fully participate as an recognized organization at the 2021 general election. Congress Of The Republic Of Peru
The Congress of the Republic of Peru ( es, Congreso de la República) is the unicameral body that assumes legislative power in Peru. Congress' composition is established by Chapter I of Title IV of the Constitution of Peru. Congress is composed of representatives who sit in congressional districts allocated to each region, as well as two special districts, Lima Province and Peruvian citizens living abroad, on a basis of population as measured by the Peruvian Census in multi-member districts. The number of voting representatives is fixed by the Constitution at 130. Pursuant to the 2017 Census, the largest delegation is that of Lima Province, with 36 representatives. Peruvian Humanist Party
The Peruvian Humanist Party ( es, Partido Humanista Peruano, PHP), formerly the (Peruvian Humanist Movement Party) is a humanist political party in Peru, and a former member of the Decentralization Coalition together with the Partido por la Democracia Social - Compromiso Perú. The PMHP won the regional elections of 2002 for the northern region of Lambayeque. In 2008, Yehude Simon of PMHP became Prime Minister of Peru under Alan García. He resigned less than a year later. For the 2011 Peruvian general election the party was allied with the Alliance for the Great Change of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, that won 12 seats in Congress, making Yehude Simon a congressman for Lambayeque Region.
