Astrid Smeplass (born 29 October 1996) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. In 2013, she placed fifth in the Norwegian version of ''Pop Idol'', entitled '' Idol – Jakten på en superstjerne''. In 2020, she released her debut studio album, '' Leave It Beautiful'', through Universal. Career 16-year-old Smeplass released her first single "Shattered", which was co-written by American singer-songwriter Melanie Fontana, after participating in '' Idol - Jakten på en superstjerne'' in 2013. She signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV Music Publishing shortly after. Her first single under her new artist image, "2AM", was released through Universal Music in 2014, releasing in the US the following year. Berkåk
Berkåk is the administrative centre of Rennebu Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Orkladalen valley along the river Orkla. The village lies about north of the village of Ulsberg and southeast of the village of Stamnan. School Strike for Climate ( sv, Skolstrejk för klimatet), also known variously as Fridays for Future (FFF), Youth for Climate, Climate Strike or Youth Strike for Climate, is an international movement of school students who skip Friday classes to participate in demonstrations to demand action from political leaders to prevent climate change and for the fossil fuel industry to transition to renewable energy. Publicity and widespread organising began after Swedish pupil Greta Thunberg staged a protest in August 2018 outside of the Swedish Riksdag (parliament), holding a sign that read "" ("School strike for climate"). Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards in English, is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. First awarded in 1973, the prize honours musicians from the previous year; it is still awarded annually, usually in January or February. ''Skam'' (; English: "Shame") is a Norwegian teen drama streaming television series about the daily life of teenagers at the Hartvig Nissen School, a gymnasium in the wealthy borough of Frogner in West End Oslo. It is considered the primary Norwegian record chart, charting albums and singles from countries and continents around the world. The data are collected by Nielsen Soundscan International and are based on the sales in approximately 100 shops in Norway.
