Parliamentary Constituencies Of Nepal
The House of Representatives (Nepal), House of Representatives of Nepal (the lower house of the Federal Parliament of Nepal, Federal Parliament) has 165 constituencies, of which 165 elect a single member using first-past-the-post voting and one nationwide constituency that elects 110 members by proportional representation. The current constituencies are based on the Constituency Delimitation Commission (CDC) report submitted on 31 August 2017. According to the constitution, the new constituencies cannot be altered for another 20 years (until 2037) and cannot be challenged in any court of law. Taplejung District
Taplejung District ( ne, ताप्लेजुङ जिल्ला ) is one of 77 districts of Nepal and one of the 14 districts of Province No. 1. It is remotely located in the Himalayas in Eastern Nepal with Tibet to the north across the Himalayas. Taplejung is the third largest district (by area) of Nepal. The district covers an area of and has a total population (2011 Nepal census) of 127,461. Sankhuwasabha District
Sankhuwasabha District ( ne, सङ्खुवासभा जिल्ला ) is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. The district's area is 3,480 km2 with a population of 159,203 in 2001 and 158,742 in 2011. The administrative center is Khandbari. Bordering districts are Bhojpur, Terhathum and Dhankuta in Koshi Zone; Solukhumbu in Sagarmatha Zone; and Taplejung in Province No. 1. Tingri County of Shigatse Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China borders to the north. Jhapa District
Jhapa ( ne, झापा जिल्ला; ) is a district of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal named after a Rajbanshi word "Jhapa" meaning "to cover" (verb). The latest official data, the 2021 Nepal Census, puts the total population of the district at 994,090. The total area of the district is 1,606 square kilometres. Location Jhapa is the easternmost district of Nepal and lies in the fertile Terai plains. It is part of the Outer Terai. Ilam District
Ilam district ( ne, इलाम जिल्ला) is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. It is a Hill district and covers . The 2011 census counted 290,254 population. The municipality of Ilam is the district headquarters and is about from Kathmandu.
