The Paralympic Committee of Serbia ( sr, Параолимпијски комитет Србије / ''Paraolimpijski komitet Srbije'') is the National Paralympic Committee in Serbia for the Paralympic Games movement. It is a non-profit organisation that selects teams, and raises funds to send Serbian competitors to Paralympic events organised by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Subject to the controls of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), NPCs are responsible for organizing their people's participation in the Paralympic Games. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC; german: Internationales Paralympisches Komitee) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Paralympic Games and functions as the international federation for nine sports. Serbia made its Paralympic Games début at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, following its split with Montenegro. It had previously competed as part of Serbia and Montenegro in 2004; and as part of Yugoslavia before that.
