The Paraguayan football derby, also named as the Superclásico (Super derby); is a football (soccer) fixture played between Cerro Porteño and Club Olimpia, the two most successful and popular clubs from Asunción, Paraguay. Carlos Humberto Paredes
Carlos Humberto Paredes Monges (; born 16 July 1976) is a Paraguayan coach and former footballer. His style of play led the Paraguayan media to call him the "Master of the Midfield". Paredes played defensive midfield, though he could also play as centre-forward, being a lethal header. He also had exceptional leadership capabilities on the field, where he was constantly marshalling instructions to the rest of the team. His first major competition as a coach was the 2016 Toulon Tournament with the Paraguay national under-23 football team. Claudio Vargas Almonte (born June 19, 1978) is a Dominican former professional baseball pitcher. He has previously played for the Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets, and Los Angeles Dodgers. Diego Alfredo Lugano Morena (; (born 2 November 1980) is a Uruguayan former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Jonathan Fabbro (born 16 January 1982) is an Argentine-born Paraguayan convicted felon and a former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. In 2019, he was sentenced to fourteen years in jail for abuse of children. Born in Argentina, he became a naturalised citizen of Paraguay and played for its national football team. Julio Daniel dos Santos Rodríguez (born 7 May 1983) is a Paraguayan retired footballer who last played for Presidente Hayes. He played usually in the hole-position, and sometimes as a second striker.
