Evelina Papoulia
Evelina Papoulia (Greek: Εβελίνα Παπούλια; born 25 March 1971) is a Greek actress and dancer. She is best known for her role as Marina Kountouratou in the TV series '' Dyo Xenoi'' (1997). Career In 1989 she moved to New York City to study dance at The Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and acting at The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. During her time in New York City, she took part in several plays, such as "West Side Story" (1993), while participating in the Mega Dance Company. Originally she wanted to obtain the American citizenship, but failing to do so she returned to Athens in 1993 and continued working as an actress. Evelina first claimed stardom as the hysterical blond TV persona Marina Kountouratou, who fell in love with a man of classic education, in " Dyo Xenoi" in 1997. Georgios Papoulias
Georgios Papoulias ( el, Γεώργιος Παπούλιας; 19 May 1927, Athens – 11 September 2009, Kolonaki) was a Greek politician and diplomat. Papoulias briefly served as the Foreign Minister of Greece on two separate terms in 1989 and 1990. Papoulias was born on 19 May 1927. He graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens, followed by studies at the Higher School of Commerce and Army service in 1950–1951 with the rank of Second Lieutenant. Papoulias entered the Greek Diplomatic Corps in 1955. His first foreign posting came in 1957, when he was sent to the Greek embassy in New Delhi. From there he was transferred to Bonn, where he remained until 1964 when he moved to the permanent Greek legation in Geneva. Karolos Papoulias ( el, Κάρολος Παπούλιας ; 4 June 1929 – 26 December 2021) was a Greek politician who served as the president of Greece from 2005 to 2015. A member of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK), he previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1985 to 1989 and again from 1993 until 1996. Early life Karolos Papoulias was born in the village of Molyvdoskepastos, Ioannina on 4 June 1929, and was the son of Major General Gregorios Papoulias.
