Bengt Palmquist
Bengt Valdemar Palmquist (4 April 1923 – 26 November 1995) was a Sweden, Swedish sailor who competed in the Dragon class at the 1956, 1960 and 1968 Olympics. He won a gold medal in 1956, finishing 20th and sixth in 1960 and 1968, respectively; he was the helmsman in 1960. Palmqvist, was a Finnish architect best known as a designer of industrial and commercial buildings, especially the timber and paper mills and their wider factory ''milieus'' of the 1920s and 1930s, as well as several notable buildings in central Helsinki. Per Palmqvist, also Palmquist, (8 April 1815 – 10 August 1887) was a Swedish Baptist pioneer and organist. He is regarded as one of the founders of Sunday school in Sweden. Palmqvist, along with his two brothers Johannes and Gustaf Palmquist, were early leaders of the Swedish Baptist movement in Sweden. He has published a series of work-books titled ''"Refinement of Rhythm"'', that are used widely as resources for rhythmic dictation, grounding and research. Stephen Richard Palmquist (born 1957) is an American philosopher, currently living in Los Angeles. He taught philosophy at various universities in Hong Kong from 1987 to 2021. A Patheos article referred to him as "one of the greatest living interpreters of Kant".
