August Palmisano (1928 – June 30, 1978), also known as Augie, was an American tavern owner. He owned Palmy's Bar, a tavern in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Palmisano was a reputed mobster and suspected informant. He was convicted of running gambling operations in the 1960s. He was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and had his phone wiretapped as part of a federal investigation into Mafia-controlled gambling operations. In 1972, he was stunt coordinator for ''The Final Comedown''. In 1980, he became president of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures for four seasons.
