Pakistani Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2017–18
The Pakistan cricket team toured New Zealand in January 2018 to play five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. New Zealand won the ODI series 5–0, their second ever 5-0 bilateral series win, the first being against the West Indies in 2000. Pakistan won the T20I series 2–1. It was Pakistan's first T20I series win in New Zealand and as a result, Pakistan moved to the top of the ICC T20I Championship rankings. Squads Doug Bracewell was ruled out of New Zealand's squad for the first two ODIs with a hamstring strain and was replaced by George Worker. Azhar Ali
Azhar Ali ( ur, ; born 19 February 1985) is a Pakistani former international cricketer. He also captained Pakistan national team in Test and ODI cricket. George Worker
George Herrick Worker (born 23 August 1989) is a New Zealand international cricketer. He was named in New Zealand's squad for their tour to Zimbabwe in August 2015, after Mitchell Santner was ruled out due to injury. He made his Twenty20 International debut for New Zealand on 9 August 2015. He made his One Day International debut for New Zealand against South Africa on 23 August 2015. Timothy Grant Southee (born 11 December 1988), is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays for New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game, captains in Tests and vice captains in T20Is. Henry Michael Nicholls (born 15 November 1991) is a New Zealand cricketer who represents the New Zealand national team and plays for Canterbury in domestic first-class cricket. Colin de Grandhomme (born 22 July 1986) is a former Zimbabwean-born New Zealand international cricketer.
