Pakistan Men's National Volleyball Team
The Pakistan men's national volleyball team represents Pakistan in international volleyball competitions. Pakistan Volleyball Federation was founded on 31 January 1955. Thereafter, volleyball was taken up at the national level. The Federation received recognition and was affiliated to the Pakistan Olympic Association and the International Volleyball Federation the same year. Pakistan had the honour of winning a bronze medal during the 1962 Asian Games at Jakarta where the matches were played outdoor. Pakistan Volleyball Federation
Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) is the national governing body to develop and promote the sport of Volleyball in the Country. The Federation was formed in 1955 and volleyball activities at the national level were taken up in an organized manner. PVF is affiliated with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). Achievements *In 1958, Pakistan National Volleyball team visited Iran for playing with the national team of Iran. 2023 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship
The 2023 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the 22nd staging of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF). The tournament was held in Urmia, Iran from 19 to 26 August 2023. This was Iran's fifth time served as the host nation. Japan won their tenth title by defeating in straight sets the host and two-time defending champions Iran in the final. Iran took their third silver medal of the tournament. Qatar won their first medal of the tournament, claiming the bronze after defeating China (3–0) in the third place match. Yūki Ishikawa named as the MVP of the tournament. 2021 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship
The 2021 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the twenty-first staging of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Japan Volleyball Association (JVA). The tournament was held in Chiba and Funabashi, Japan from 12 to 19 September 2021. The 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the nineteenth staging of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, the biennial international men's volleyball championship of Asia organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI).
