Pakeeza (film)
Pakeeza ( ur, , lit=Pure) is a 1979 Pakistani film it was written by Masroor Anwar and directed by Parvez Malik it was produced by Masroor Anwar. It stars Nadeem, Shabnam, Bindiya, Naveen Tajik and Rahat Kazmi in leading roles. The film was a Platinum Jubilee at the box office. Plot The story is about (Shabnam) Shabana and Irfan who are happily married but later (Nadeem) Irfan is blamed in a fraud case. Then he leaves Shabana alone and heads to a village to escape from the police there he meets (Bindiya) Bindya and marries her later they both have a son name (Rahat) Salman while Shabana raises her only daughter (Naveen) Arzoo. Parvez Malik
Pervez Malik (1937 – 18 November 2008) was a Pakistani film director. He was the director of Pakistan's first platinum jubilee film, " Armaan" (1966). He directed more than 20 films, mostly in Urdu language, and received excellent reviews for many of his films from both film critics and the public. Early life Pervez Malik was nine years old when Pakistan became independent in 1947. His family had a background in military service, but he was influenced by his class fellow, Waheed Murad, whose father, ''Nisar Murad'', ran a film distribution business, named Film Arts. With the passage of time, they both learned the art of making and marketing films from Nisar Murad and his colleagues who were mostly film-industry personalities. Saqi (actor)
Abdul Latif Baloch, better known by his screen name Saqi (2 April 1925 – 22 December 1986), was a Pakistani film and television actor. He is known for mostly playing supportive roles in Lollywood movies. He starred in more than 500 Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Pashto films. Early life and family Saqi was born on April 2, 1925, in Baghdad, Iraq, where his father had been appointed during the first world war and later stayed there for a while as a railway employee. Saqi belonged to a Baloch family settled in Dadu District, Sindh. His mother was a Kurd from Iraq. His step-brother ''Abdul Karim Baloch'' served as a general manager at PTV, Karachi Center. Akhtar Hussain Albela ( pa, ) (21 September 1940 – 17 July 2004) was a Pakistani actor and comedian. Albela died of a heart failure at age 63 in Lahore on 17 July 2004. Masroor Anwar
Masroor Anwar (6 January 1944 – 1 April 1996) was a ghazal poet, film song lyricist and a film screenwriter. He wrote the lyrics for 'Ko Ko Korina', South Asia's first pop song, and working alongside Sohail Rana, film director Pervez Malik and film producer and actor Waheed Murad in the 1960s, was part of the country's golden age of cinema helping establish Karachi as a major hub for film production.
