Pacific Oceania Davis Cup Team
The Pacific Oceania Davis Cup team represents the island nations in Oceania, excluding Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia, in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Oceania Tennis Federation. Pacific Oceania on Sunday 19th September 2021 was promoted following the Davis Cup Tie in Amman, Jordan to compete in the 2022 Asia/Oceania Zone of Group II. In August 2022 they were promoted to World Group II. Pacific Oceania (abbreviated to POC) is the name given to the group of small nations of the Southern, Southwestern, Central and Western Pacific Ocean that compete collectively as one country in both the Davis Cup (men) and Billie Jean King Cup (women) tennis tournaments. Pacific Oceania is governed by the Oceania Tennis Federation. West Lee Nott (born June 8, 1982) is the Head Coach of the Women's Tennis Team at UTRGV, University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. Personal Nott is the son of Sam and Elizabeth Nott.
