Pac-12 Conference Softball Freshman Of The Year
The Pac-12 Conference Softball Freshman of the Year is a college softball award given to the Pac-12 Conference's most outstanding freshman player. The award has been given annually since 1994, when it was known as the Newcomer of the Year and players in their first year in the conference, including transfers, were eligible. The conference was known as the Pacific-10 before becoming the Pac-12 in 2011. The Pac-12 Conference is a collegiate List of NCAA conferences, athletic conference, that operates in the Western United States, participating in 24 sports at the NCAA Division I level. Its College football, football teams compete in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly Division I-A), the highest level of college football in the nation. Washington Huskies Softball
The Washington Huskies softball team represents the University of Washington in NCAA Division I college softball competition.
