Pablo López (footballer, Born 1998)
Pablo César López Martínez (born 7 January 1998) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He was included in The Guardian's "Next Generation 2015". Club career López made his Liga MX debut against América on 19 November 2016, and made his Copa MX debut against Atlético San Luis on 17 February 2016. When midfielder Érick Gutiérrez joined Dutch Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven in 2018, López became his replacement. He scored his first goal in the professional ranks in September against Guadalajara. He started 20 games overall during the 2018–19 season. International career Youth López was called up for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup. López was called up by Jaime Lozano to participate with the under-22 team at the 2019 Toulon Tournament, where Mexico won third place. Football At The Pan American Games
Football (soccer) at the Pan American Games has been included in every Pan American Games as a men's competition sport, since the first edition of the multi-sports event in 1951. The competition is organized by the Pan American Sports Organization. So as to avoid competition with the World Cup, FIFA have restricted participation of elite players in the men's tournament in various ways. Currently squads for the men's tournament are required to be composed of players under 22 years of age. The tournament was played in league format from 1951 to 1963, neither final nor bronze medal match hosted. Another format was used in 1971, this time the tournament was played in group format in early stages, but played in league format for final stages. The 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship was a scheduled age-restricted international association football tournament organised by CONCACAF. The competition was used to determine the four CONCACAF representatives at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile. The competition was hosted by Honduras. The CONCACAF U-17 Championship is an international association football event in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region, and is the qualification tournament for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The Football at the 2019 Pan American Games, men's football tournament at the 2019 Pan American Games was held in Lima from 29 July to 10 August 2019. Qualification A total of eight men's teams qualified to compete at the games, four CONMEBOL teams and four CONCACAF teams. For CONMEBOL, the best three teams at the 2019 South American U-20 Championship qualified, while Peru automatically qualified as hosts. The 2019 Toulon Tournament (officially french: 47ème Festival International "Espoirs" – Tournoi Maurice Revello) was the 47th edition of the Toulon Tournament. It was held in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône from 1 to 15 June 2019. England were the defending champions but they were eliminated in the group stage. In this season the tournament was contested by under-22 national teams, although France, Portugal, England and Republic of Ireland played with their under-18, under-19, under-20 and under-21 teams, respectively. Jaime Arturo "Jimmy" Lozano Espín (born 29 September 1978) is a Mexican professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Lozano spent the majority of his playing career with Club Universidad Nacional, playing in over 160 matches with the club. He also had spells with Tigres UANL and Cruz Azul, and Monarcas Morelia. A Mexico international, Lozano made his debut in 2000, earning 34 caps and scoring 12 goals during a seven-year period. He participated with the national team in various competitions, including two Copa América tournaments, the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup, and the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 21st edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship.
