The Royal Malaysia Police (often abbreviated RMP) ( ms, Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM)), is a (primarily) uniformed national and federal police force in Malaysia. The force is a centralised organisation. Its headquarters are located at Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur. The police force is led by an Inspector-General of Police (IGP) who, , is Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani. The constitution, control, employment, recruitment, funding, discipline, duties and powers of the police force are specified and governed by the Police Act 1967. In carrying out its responsibilities, the regular RMP is also assisted by a support group of Extra Police Constables, Police Volunteer Reserves, Auxiliary Police, Police Cadets and a civilian service element. Tan Sri Acryl Sani bin Haji Abdullah Sani ( Jawi: اقر الثاني عبدﷲ ثاني; born 3 October 1961) is a Malaysian police officer who has served as the 13th Inspector-General of Police (IGP) since May 2021. He served as the Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) from August 2020 to his promotion to IGP in May 2021. Gading Marine FIC / FAC is a combat boat made by Malaysian company Gading Marine. Its currently in service with Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) and also ordered by Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) in 2020. Development After the intrusion in Lahad Datu, Sabah in 2013, Malaysia desperately needs a fast interceptor craft for its security forces to patrol the shallow waters and tight area in Sabah. The establishment of ESSCOM and ESSZONE and ongoing ''Ops Benteng'' also makes the acquisition of this combat boat very important. Jurmo Class Landing Craft
The Jurmo-class landing craft is a type of military transport in use by the Finnish Navy. The manufacturer Marine Alutech designates it as Watercat M12. History The Jurmo was the result of modernisation in the Finnish Navy in the late 1990s. It was designed to replace the existing Uisko class landing craft. Its main purpose is landing and transportation operations for the Finnish Coastal Jaegers in all weather conditions. It has good maneuverability and can come to a full stop in only one ship length from top speed. Low draft makes it suitable for amphibious assault even in shallow waters. The Jurmo can transport 3 tons of cargo or 22 men. The Jurmo is currently being evaluated by the German and Greek navies, and a number of the slightly larger and more powerful M14 version will also be delivered to the Royal Malaysian Police. Civil Affairs Police Force
The Civil Affairs Police Force (CAPF) was established to maintain peace and security in British Malaya. The force was set up by the British Military Administration which took over the administration of Malaya from the Japanese Imperial Army when the latter surrendered in August 1945. The establishment of CAPF in September 1945 was an important development in the history of the police force. It was the first time a single, centrally administered police force was set up for the entire British Malaya.
