The Oyo State House of Assembly is the legislative arm of the government  of Oyo State Oyo State is an inland state in southwestern Nigeria. The fundamental functions of the Assembly are to enact new laws, amend or repeal existing laws and oversight of the executive. Members of the assembly are elected for a term of four years concurrent with federal legislators (Senate and House of Representatives) and governor of the state. Oyo State
Oyo State is an inland state in southwestern Nigeria. Its capital is Ibadan, the third most populous city in the country and formerly the second most populous city in Africa. Oyo State is bordered to the north by Kwara State, to the east by Osun State, and to the southwest by Ogun State and the Republic of Benin. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin (born 17 February 1987) is a Nigerian politician. He is the current speaker of the Ninth Oyo State House of Assembly and member representing Ibarapa East constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. He assumed office on 10 June 2019. Personal life and education Adebo Edward Ogundoyin is from Ibarapa East constituency, Oyo State. He is a graduate of Babcock University.
